Manufacturing / Pressure Forming

As well as a vacuum, this process uses compressed air to form the sheet. The result is a much tighter accuracy, hence tools of considerably higher tolerances are used in the forming. Benefits include extremely precise moulding with excellent definition applicable to many high end users.

Twinsheet Forming

Used principally to form structural parts, where two hot sheets are vacuum formed into their respective moulds and then pressed tightly together. Pressure and heat fuse the two sheets into one unit. Benefits include a highly detailed, tightly accurate end product, which is structurally self supporting.
